Seriously people, nothing - nothing! I haven't taken any pictures in several months of my precious grands so I have no new pictures to show off. We haven't gone anywhere fun or exciting - so no stories to tell. We're not even going to the Houston Rodeo!!
I did go get my hair cut and highlighted today.... guess I could blog about that. I've been desperately looking for a job - with no success.....guess I could blog about that. I was dog-sick (if you're from LA you may understand that means really really sick) for about 4 weeks with bronchitis that I just could not shake....guess I could blog about that. We're living temporarily in a 1 bedroom apt which is driving us crazy but I know it could be much worse - like living in a hut in India....guess I could blog about that. American Idol has finally gotten down to the Top 13 and it's about to get "real".....guess I could blog about that. We are awaiting the arrival of Grandbaby #9 in September (and we are very excited to meet him/her)....guess I could blog about that. We are going on our annual Garner trip this summer - like we always do but my best friend and her entire family are going with us and there will be 32 of us in one cabin (and we are very excited about that!) ....guess I could blog about that. Spring is almost officially in Houston cause there is green pollen all over my car....guess I could blog about that.
But all of that seems terribly boring to me. And if it's boring to me - I imagine it would be super-boring to you! So until my life gets a little more exciting I will probably just take a little blog siesta! But I will leave you with a few pics of all that God has blessed me with!! And that - my friends....is never boring!!

Awww...super cute pictures. Glad you are feeling better. That was a LONG time to be sick- NO FUN. Sorry the job hunt isn't working out as quickly as you'd like. I know the perfect job will come. Enjoy the boringness. That sounds pretty nice to me right now. :)

ReplyDeleteI did not know that you were sick cause I hate to call cause of the phone/one bedroom apt. issue! I DO know what sick as a dog is and I do know just how sick your dog can get! You needed roast and I didn't even know...how sad is that?!
Even if you think that the post is boring, those of us regular readers want to hear from you anyway! The "pink and green and swirly-twirly artwork" is fun! I don't know how you pick from so many choices, but I always love the one you choose. It's the designer in ya!
Lesa is blogging some now and it is fun to read. She takes great pictures like y'all. Most of hers are outdoor, nature, and of course the grands!

I think in real life we could be BFF'S!! I loved this post...seems like my life sometimes! The pictures are fabulous! You have a beautiful family....and I LOVE the header picture of the girls in their cowboy boots!

I hope everything is ok.....one bedroom apt/looking for a job.....guess I always go worst case scenario with those kinds of things. Love the 32 people in a cabin plans.....those are going to be some big meals to cook!!
